Building AI literacy under Article 4 of the EU AI Act
The EU AI Act requires an adequate, context-specific level of AI literacy . There is no one-size-fits-all answer: KI-Wisskom offers separate learning paths for managers, staff, researchers, administrators and students.
All content is carefully prepared, hosted in Germany and continuously updated as the regulation changes. It is developed by specialists with many years of practical experience in AI governance at research institutions.
The KI-Wisskom training courses are a separately bookable partner offering, independent of the UNAIT products and optional to combine.

If you already use Secova sam® for workplace instruction and EHS management, you can run the KI-Wisskom training directly from the platform you know, including attendance records and certificate management in your existing system.

Available through the Academic Cloud, AI models from Göttingen
UNAIT will be available through GWDG's Academic Cloud, the central service for academic institutions. For the AI assistant inside UNAIT we use GWDG's privacy-compliant AI models, running on servers in Germany.
Private AI infrastructure and model hosting
Thimera provides organisations with their own infrastructure for running private AI models, hosted entirely in Germany and independent of US cloud services.
AI adoption for universities and research
ki-wisskom.de has supported more than 250 institutions in introducing AI guidelines, with a focus on research, universities and science. It has also supported numerous institutions in using AI for science communication, research administration and academic work.
